Upgrades planned for the Tuckahoe Little League complex are getting a substantial boost, thanks to additional funding. The expanded renovations are a result of the Tuckahoe Little League and Henrico County agreeing to combine the previous plans for the upgrades at Tuckahoe Park with additional renovations requested by the Little League. A nurse tried to save the life of a “loving father” ambushed in the parking lot of townhomes in Henrico’s Near West End Friday night. Two suspects knocked on a neighbor’s door at the very end of the 4103 building on Townhouse Road around 10 p.m., Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett. Two candidates are running for the Varina District seat on the Henrico County School Board this November: incumbent Alicia Atkins and newcomer Domonique Pervall. Atkins was elected in November of 2019 to represent the Varina District and is the first Black woman to sit on the board.
