The Final Episode of the Quarantine Trilogy.

In their most ambitious, positive, and uninformed conversation to date, Hunter and Josh attempt to predict how society will proceed in the face of adversity and adapt to our current health crisis. But it’s not all business, as they also talk about the Uncharted series, Hunter's nightmares, and why Shabbat feels more relevant than ever. Plus Hunter tries his Pliny clone, Josh gives a final (and spoiler heavy) review of the FF7 Remake, and you know it's funny but...there might be a twist at the end.

"Henry And Hops: Trump's America" Episode 3 brings you our annual New Years special.

Like last year, Hunter and Josh go through their top 5 picks for music, movies, beer, and culture in 2016. They also add in some dark categories like top 5 political scandals and top 5 celebrity deaths (they'll explain). For the most part, Hunter refuses to put his picks into a top 5 format or even create a list in certain cases. But the conversation is robust, compelling, and ridiculous. It's a pretty laid back and comedic adventure compared to our recent entries.

"Henry And Hops: Trump's America" continues this week with Episode 2: "Immigration".

After reviewing a few beers and briefly summarizing the podcast, Hunter and Josh (aka Juicebox) discuss historical immigration terminology and trends, and then jump into our ideas for the future. We also manage to pull off our first official interview, which gives our listeners some variety from our usual serving of "Liberal Male Pale Ale". It's a small step toward relevant content, but a giant leap for us.

As Hunter says, "I hope these tapes serve as, if nothing else, documentation. And I'm getting very lofty here but...we're going to put them in a time capsule someday so the aliens can know that at least we tried...a little bit."

Totally absurd. But hey, it's Trump's America now. Anything is possible.

We have re-emerged from our creative lapse with our third evolution of the Henry and Hops podcast, now retitled:

"Henry And Hops: Trump's America"

Episode 1, quite obviously, focuses on the recent election and how it impacted our lives and the country as a whole. In this, Josh and Hunter discuss topics like Racism , Karl Rove's reaction, and how Trump's presidency effects US policy abroad. Some great quotes follow, including "We were all mislead by the pollsters and the media." (Josh) "He 'Trump' played the classic populist card" (Hunter), and "Racism has always been legal in this country" (Josh), while also including pithy sarcastic one-liners like "I don't think we have any listeners, so it's fine" (Hunter). Henry and Hops, while still uninformed, just got a whole lot more structured.

Interviews and other truly informative things to come this year. Stay tuned.

And drink good beer. You're going to need it.

Still slightly relevant, Hunter and Josh discuss their top 5 picks for music, movies, beer, and culture in 2016. They also review the news of the year, mostly gun control, and talk about the upcoming presidential election. It’s a mini, but a good one, as both are extremely on topic and alert for this episode.
