This is my unpopular opinion on the "hoe" phase and why I don't feel it's something women need to go through to discover themselves. It almost feels like this is a phase that has been glamourized and seen as a way of empowering yourself as a woman by going through this experience. One thing we sometimes fail to realize is that our wants are different than our needs. So we may get caught up in the moment and eventually realize we know better or the certain situation isn't aligned with you you are becoming and so you have to walk away.
