Her Genesis

There’s a kind of ache that lives in women like me—an ache for protection, nurturance, and guidance we were never shown how to receive. In this episode of Her Genesis, I open up about my personal walk with God to heal from Mother Hunger, a term I discovered in Kelly McDaniel’s powerful book that finally put words to my lifelong pain.  

I’m sharing what it means to grow up without the mothering you needed, how it shapes your identity, and what it looks like to parent from a place of purpose rather than pain.
