Jack and Eddie return for another ELITE podcast. We have coaching moves, championship weekend recaps, bowl selection thoughts, Notre Dame takes, and kicking Jack repeatedly in the junk for Florida State's terrible 6-6 campaign. Oh, and we have a mystery Army/Navy pick thrown in. This is the only episode of the week so get on it!

It's conference championship week, but the insanity of the silly season of coaching searches has been doing its damnedest to take the spotlight, especially if you're Tennessee or Arizona State. We have picks and previews for all the biggest games this weekend, including Florida State's desperate attempt to keep their bowl streak alive, plus the latest (at least at the time of recording) coaching news and rumors.

The silly season of coaching hires and fires is underway now that the regular season has ended. With Notre Dame having a disappointing loss to Stanford, many ND fans would happily jump into that fray. After looking at the national picture, Tex fields live questions from the HLS Discord chat to talk through just where to go from here.

Kick off your Thanksgiving week with all the picks. Eddie joins Tex for a full episode of previewing the biggest (and some of the not so biggest) games of the week including Notre Dame vs. Stanford. #HAILGAMBLOR

Well, this week of college football was certainly a thing that happened. Notre Dame decided to give all Irish fans a heart attack in a rain-soaked senior day while most teams around the nation took a break from playing football teams with a pulse. But hey, it's football and there are things to discuss. Come join us.

Well, it's not exactly the best slate of games that we've seen in the 2017 season, but if one thing has held constant, it's that none of them have been boring. Although we seem to be very willing to test it with the onslaught of bad matchups and FCS tours. Quite a few of the top teams in the nation are looking to bounce back from some bad losses and Notre Dame finds themselves in that group.

There's only a couple of weeks left in the regular season. Let's enjoy them while they last.

Well...that happened. Notre Dame may just need to avoid South Beach for a long time because Miami gave every Irish fan Alabama flashbacks. ND, however, wasn't the only playoff contender downed in brutal fashion this past weekend. There's a lot to breakdown from this Saturday, including a discussion of the bigger picture of where the Irish go from here.

The cold open returns as does Shane. The Irish also make a return of their own, heading down to Miami for the first time since that fateful BCS Championship game that abruptly ended 2012's magical run to take part in one of three top-ten matchups in Saturday. This is one of the most jam-packed weeks of top-tier college football in some time.

Come join us and get yourself ready for one hell of a ride.

A win's a win, even if Notre Dame didn't put the usual choke-hold on their opponent. Still, a 700+ yard performance and a double-digit win falling in the sloppy category seems like a decent place to be in. It's certainly a spot a few other teams around college football would love to be in as well after a couple of major upsets. Let's dig in to the potential playoff implications and get some predictions for tomorrow's playoff rankings in this recap episode.

Shane is unfortunately still out, but the preview episode will keep truckin' on. There is a ton of scoreboard watching for Irish fans this week as there are many games that could greatly affect Notre Dame's playoff aspirations. Of course, the Irish still have a lot of control over their own destiny as Wake Forest comes into town. There are no weeks off anymore, so come on in and get ready for another great weekend of college football!
