The Power of Cellular Activation with Susan Alden
Today, Susan Alden joins me on the show. Together with her husband Jamie, Susan co-founded Mind Body Aloha. Their mission is to help others heal, transform, and evolve. Their journey began in 2003 when they opened The Open Door in Fayetteville, NC, the first holistic wellness center of its kind in that community. When the Military took them to their next duty location Hawaii, Mind Body Aloha was born. Susan is passionate about the power of cellular activation and traditional medicine; you can bet we will get into it.
Mind Body Aloha was inspired by their deep passion for sharing the knowledge gathered over the years. Their integrative, holistic approach to wellness infuses their experiences with wisdom, practices, and plant medicines rooted in Native American, Hawaiian, and ancient yogic traditions. Their workshops, retreats, and private sessions integrate powerful tools such as the Medicine Wheel, Ho'oponopono, Himalayan Kriya, Meditation, Functional Nutrition, and Nutrigenomics.
Breathwork is one of the most underestimated techniques that help us disconnect with our minds and be guided by our bodies. It is one of the healing techniques that Susan uses to help people heal. She will share how breathwork works, why it is essential, and how it can help us heal from trauma.
What's your purpose? Susan answers that in this segment with the wisdom she gained from her father and the Yogies in India as she describes her journey to find her life meaning.
In this episode, Susan and I will have an in-depth conversation on how she grew her business, how breathwork works, dealing with trauma, how to live your purpose, and the supplements she has been on, among other things.
