We all have things we struggle with. Moses had his speach, and Paul had his past. When God asks you to reach out in an area you are weak in, take faith and trust in the Word. Your weakness is where God shows His strength. Partner with someone to challenge you or keep you acountable. Surrender the moments of fear to the Prince of Peace and give Him the glory.

Let's jump into Moses' story. He was born in a time of turmoil for his people, hidden away, then raised and educated in a palace. After running away from the palace and starting a family God called him to a purpose. Like Moses we have excuses, but we have the resource of the living God and with Him we can overcome. Give your excuses to God because He works in our weakness.

It's good Friday! What are you anticipating for this weekend and the week ahead? Something amazing from God? It is hard when we have to wait and prepare for unexpected moves in our lives. Just like Saul had to wait for his kingship and Paul had to wait for healing. When we listen by waiting or taking action it makes God's hand in our lives evident. I challenge you to team up with God and have patience for His timing while trusting in His promises.

God calls us, like Saul, out of everyday circumstsances to become something new. Saul was the first king of Israel. Something no one had done before him, but was he qualified?

What is God ready to show the world through you? Are you qualified? What makes you think you are or aren’t? Yet, none of us are perfect but God's gifts fill all of our weaknesses. Let Him be the difference and know you are qualified.

Do you know what God's plan is for you? Your purpose?¿ There is nothing that you can do to disqualify you from what He has in store for you. God spoke to Samuel and gave him instructions for Saul. His plan was for Saul to be king of Israel. What details does God want you to know, for yourself or for another? I encourage you to open your ears and listen to what God is speaking to you.¿

It is wonderful to have a Father that loves you and prepares plans ahead of you.

Our life problems seem like they are just normal things that happen to everyone. Right?🤔 Some worse some better… yet, when we are guided by God, they can turn into something we don’t always expect. When we allow God to direct us we make the best choices. Those can be kingly choices, but far better than even that we make Godly choices. Often we get distracted by the noise of the world and our problems so we need to dicipline ourselves and awaken to the things God wants to do for us. The King of Kings is ready and willing if we ask Him. Take time today, making space to listen to God, it will open doors that you wouldn't believe. 🤯

1 Samuel 9

Last week did you inquire of the Lord? Let's jump into Gideon's story where he asked for instruction and for help with confidence. When we face troubles and insecurities we need to realign our thoughts and be in awe of how amazing God is. His wonders and miracles are neverending and ever-new. I challenge you, contend for something in your life and just ask Him.

When you're fighting battles do you ever feel that the enemy is one step ahead always preparing a trap? Guess what? It's the other way around, when you inquire of the Lord. Joshua, David, Gideon, and countless others have had victory when they took time to simply ask God what to do. God speaks to all ages and directs us to a path of victory. I challenge you to inquire and obey the Lord.

When we open our mouths the words we speak are bound to spread life… or death. We must keep our thoughts lined up with Scripture so we do not carelessly hurt ourselves and those around us. The letters to the early church instruct us to focus on "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just ...". In Numbers, Moses' siblings learned that lesson. Check your accountability and invest in someone’s life this week.

Life changes when you fully understand that God loves you. The Bible is rich with examples of the people God showed His love to. Abraham, Jacob, and David would not have stayed faithful to a God that did not provide for them. Have you consider recently nothing can separate us from His love and that is truth? I encourage you to reconnect with His love today!
