10 Years, One Promise, and a Whole Lot of Grace. 

Ten years of marriage, and whew, what a journey it has been!

In this special anniversary episode of Her Sacred Place, I'm joined by my husband as we have a real, raw, and honest conversation about what ten years of marriage has taught us.

We're talking about life before kids, navigating marriage after becoming parents, growing together through difficult seasons, and what happens when God calls you into ministry that was never part of the original plan.

We've laughed, cried, grown, stretched, and learned some lessons the hard way. And while we certainly don't have it all figured out, one thing we know for sure is that marriage requires intentionality, commitment, and a whole lot of grace.

This isn't a conversation about having a perfect marriage. It's about two imperfect people continuing to choose each other through every season.

What do you do when God has spoken, but you’re still waiting to see it?

Sacred Waiting is an invitation to trust God when the timeline doesn’t make sense, resist the urge to force what He has promised, and recognize that waiting does not mean God isn’t working.

The wait isn’t wasted. God may be doing some of His deepest work in you while you’re waiting on Him.

And maybe you’ve been carrying it quietly, trying to move forward without ever fully acknowledging what you’ve been through. But what if the very thing you’ve been trying to hide… is the thing God wants to use?

This episode is about the scars—the ones people don’t see, but you feel. The pain, the process, and the healing you’re still walking out. Because you didn’t just survive, you were marked by it.

And your scars are not signs of defeat… they’re evidence of grace.
