Quarantine is finally gifting us some actual drama!! This week we are diving deep into this #CallHerDaddy case and would love to hear your thoughts:

In this episode, we also chat:

- Psychology lessons

- People on fb sharing misinformation and starting wars in the comments

- Running & enjoying bagels

- Hitting some isolation lows

- McDonald's fries being anything but vegan

As always, we hope you are continuing to stay safe & healthy & socially distanced, especially as states start to loosen stay at home orders. We will chat to you again soon!! xo

Hello! Please note, we tried something different with our recording process this week and the audio didn't turn out as clear as usual - our apologies!

We thought we'd keep it a bit more light hearted this week after last week's more intense discussion. So, in this episode, we're debating some of our unpopular opinions, which include a dislike of the tv show Friends, mashed sweet potatoes, blueberries, Jack Black, and much more!

We also chat:

- a possible marathon in Jackie's future

- the Alison Roman "scandal"

- feeling lonely 2.0

- dealing with difficult coworkers in quarantine

Thanks for making it through - we know this is a long one but we hope it brings you a nice lil break in the middle of your week. As always, we hope you and your loved ones are staying home and staying safe.

Share how you are doing & feeling this week with us:

Hello! How are you doing? Keep hanging in there!

This week we're doing a politics chat for the first time in a few weeks so it's pretty heavy. We specifically chat about the sexual misconduct allegations against both President Trump and VP Joe Biden as well as the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. If any of this is something that could be difficult or triggering for you, please skip this episode!

Besides the heavy stuff, we also discuss:

- Jackie's inhaler joy

- Amal Clooney being a boss

- Being jealous of Alex Morgan's baby

- Cara Delevingne & Ashley Benson broke up so love remains dead

- Our confusing thoughts on the conversations around Adele's weight loss

As always, all the love to the healthcare sheroes and heroes on the frontline! We hope you are staying safe and healthy at home! Connect with us if you want to chat:

Thanks for tuning in for another episode! This week we are discussing how all relationships and communications have had to transform during this time of quarantine. We chat friend, family, romantic, personal....all the relationships!

Other topics we discuss:

- Jackie's grad school update and Kiera's grad school doubts

- Her Appetit serving consistency

- #ZoomFatigue

- The season of The Bachelor that just will not end

Congrats to everyone graduating over these past few weeks! And as always, thank you to our essential worker heroes & sheroes!

Share with us your thoughts on these topics:

We are so excited to share this episode with you! It is the very first of our Shero Series where we share and discuss the herstories of women we think don't get enough recognition.

In this first episode, we are highlighting three incredible women:

- Isatou Ceesay, a climate Shero and women's rights advocate

- Sonia Sotomayor, the first Hispanic and Latina Justice Shero

- Margaret Sanger, a trailblazing shero for women's reproductive healthcare

We hope to do more of these episodes so please let us know any other sheroes you think we should discuss:

Instagram - @hertakepodcast

Twitter - @hertakepod

Do note, we did not coin the term Shero ourselves. We tried to find who first came up with the term to give credit where credit is due and according to Merriam-Webster, the first known use of the word was in 1836. Go figure. Surprised we're still so far behind, smh.

Day 2847 of quarantine and we are back with another episode for you!

This week we're checking in on how we're holding up and discussing what coping mechanisms we've been turning to, particularly those concerning food.

We also chat:

- New food routines and the process of making and enjoying a meal

- Navigating highs and lows of our week

- Bachelor Nation's lack of social distancing

- The Disney Singalongs

- Michael Che & Captain Tom basically saving the world

As always, we wish you peace and health. Stay home and stay safe!
