In this episode of HER Talks, HERhealthEQ is joined by Ilze Melngailis, the Senior Director for the UN Foundation Business Council and Private Sector Engagement; Jennifer Kim Field, the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Henry Schein, and our CEO Marissa Fayer. With moderator Faith Legendre, a circularity and sustainability specialist, these incredible women discuss how investing in women’s health equity initiatives impacts and improves the lives of our communities. As Legendre says, when we have healthy women involved in and leading all sectors of our companies and communities, we all win. The panelists first discuss the UN’s sustainable development goals to empower girls and women and deliver healthcare to everyone on the planet. Then, they discuss creating a workforce that prioritizes the health of women, forming partnerships and programs to work towards health equity. Lastly, they answer the question “What is the single most important thing we can do as a global community to work towards health equity for women right now?”
