Spoilers Ahead for A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Feyre is starting to settle into the Spring Court, Tamlin is becoming more charming, and Lucien continues to be a menace that Ethan really doesn't love to read about. Oh and apparently there is a very important event called....the Calamine Lotion Festival (or Ethan may have gotten this name wrong). 😂
In this episode of Her TBR, My Problem, Alicia and Ethan dive into chapters 12–22 of A Court of Thorns and Roses. We talk about various fae courts, very questionable behavior, Isaac Hale, the "most beautiful man in the world", and what yearning looks like in this episode.
Plus, Ethan discovers that maybe the biggest threat in this book isn’t the fae… it’s pronouncing their holidays. 🧴🌙
Come for the romantasy, stay for the Calamine Lotion Festival.
1 hr 13 min - Okay, So There Are Fae | ACOTAR Ch. 1–11
Welcome to the very first episode of Her TBR, My Problem!
Alicia has read A Court of Thorns and Roses before. Ethan has absolutely no idea what he's getting himself into.
In our first episode, we dive into Chapters 1–11 of ACOTAR as Feyre goes from hunting a wolf in the woods to crossing the wall and finding herself in Prythian—with faeries, masks, magic, a mysterious sickness, and a certain High Lord named Tamlin.
We talk about Feyre's family, the Treaty, the wall, Tamlin and Lucien, the Bogge, and whether the faeries are really the monsters Feyre believes they are.
And, of course, Ethan has theories.
Some are reasonable.
Some are…not.
The catch? Alicia already knows what's coming—and she's not allowed to spoil it. 😂
She knows what's coming. He absolutely does not.

Welcome to the TBR Love Line—a bonus feature from Her TBR, My Problem, our upcoming podcast where she knows what’s coming… and he absolutely does not. 📻❤️
This whole thing started because we were playing around with AI and decided to make a ridiculous jingle about romantasy readers. One jingle turned into another, and somehow… Ethan ended up hosting a late-night advice line for the men who love the women who love fictional men.
So here we are.
In our very first installment, Ethan receives a letter from a very concerned husband whose wife insists her romantasy books “aren’t that spicy.”
He believed her.
He was wrong.
“How Do They Even Fit That In?” is just the beginning. The TBR Love Line will be a recurring bonus feature alongside Her TBR, My Problem, and we’ll be dropping more of our AI-created jingles, songs, and other questionable musical decisions along the way.
Consider this a public service announcement for all the partners of romantasy readers.
You’re not alone. Stay strong, gentlemen. 😂
