Here for the Moments

The Great Top Shot Burn is upon us with 2.5 million Moments thrown onto the pyre. Does all this burning mark a new era for NBA Top Shot or will they fall into the old traps of their past? NFL All Day is having its biggest celebration of the year thus far with "Mid-Season Madness". There will be new packs to purchase and new Moments to craft through Crafting Challenges. UFC Strike is the same old story week after week, and we're patiently waiting for La Liga Golazos to open up their marketplace so we can give you some news on that front.

All of this and more on this week's episode of Here for the Moments.

The NFL All Day Playbook has been a great addition to the platform through its nine weeks, but some people (us) have some ideas on how the Playbook can be adjusted and given some quality-of-life changes. NBA Top Shot has not had its first pack drop of the season yet but has consistently been cranking out Flash Challenges. La Liga Golazos had their first drop, but the marketplace is not open yet so information is scarce. And finally, we are out of Brocktober but that doesn't mean that UFC Strike doesn't have anything for us. Free Brock Lesnar Moment? Don't mind if we do.

The NBA Top Shot roadmap has been released, so let's talk about it.

New challenges, new packs, new Moments, it's all new. Series 4 is seeking to correct the sins of NBA Top Shot's past and create a product that is both engaging for fans and inviting to new users. They've certainly got a lot on their plate. NFL All Day introduces new Historical crafting challenges and makes changes to the Week 7 playbook, but is it enough to bring prices back up?

NBA Top Shot leaderboard rewards are here but are they worth all the trouble? Is lock regret starting to kick in for some users? Dapper staff talks to NBA Top Shot VIPs for guidance heading into Series 4, but do they really know what’s right for the platform?

Flow is partnering with Bud Light for a Survivor Pick ‘Em challenge where users can earn NFL All Day packs as rewards. Another two weeks of football have passed so it’s time again for an NFL All Day pack drop. With both Premium and Standard packs available for purchase, which pack are you going after? The world of UFC Strike is rife with controversy as users were found to be pulling Champion tier Moments with unbelievable odds. Something smells fishy.

NBA Top Shot has released more Locker Packs into the ecosystem, but are they actually offering a solution to the supply problem? Heading into Series 4 with way too many Moments, it's time for NBA Top Shot to feel the burn.

It's time for week 4 of NFL football, and we're steadfast in our support of NFL All Day. They seem to be doing everything right, and we don't have enough good things to say. In the UFC Strike world, things aren't looking great. Packs aren't holding their value, and market sentiment is down. But they're trying their best and that's commendable.

Top Shot is running it back again to 1986-87 in three different flavors; Common, Rare, and Legendary. Were these packs worth the pickup or did Top Shot drop the ball again (no pun intended)? All Day continues to do everything right, and we are three weeks into the NFL Football season and having an absolute blast. Football Sunday is the best day of the week, and things are good. For Top Shot to have a successful Series 4, they might need to start copying their friend's homework and implement their own Playbook, or users might start to jump ship.

Football is here, and it brings tons of NFL All Day content with it. They've introduced a new weekly challenge system called the Playbook, rewarding users who interact with the platform every day. On the fantasy football side of things, Own the Moment's Rumble is giving out thousands of dollars in Dapper balance weekly to winning lineups. Football is here and life is good. Things have been slow in the Top Shot world but that is to be expected in the off-season. UFC Strike is still around too, good for them.

For 62 episodes of this podcast, we've been asking for a Top Shot app. This week, we sat down with Avi from MomentWatch who has developed such an app. With MomentWatch you can track your collection right from your phone, no external sites necessary. It also has information on the EV of packs, market caps of specific teams/players, and other useful data.

Whether you're a serious collector or a casual fan, MomentWatch is a worthy addition to your arsenal of Top Shot tools. Special thanks to Avi for coming on and talking with us. Here for the Moments is proud to be the official podcast of MomentWatch.
