This episode is a glimpse into my struggle with depression after my 2 babies were born.  Think lots of tears, anxiety medication, counseling....and how God showed up through it all.

I'm sick and tired of feeling like I'm a bad mom because everything I see on social media tells me I'm not measuring up.  In reality all I'm seeing is the social media fluff that people post.  While I love the fluff I also love the REAL.   Season 2 is taking a turn to talk about my specific call to motherhood and how God speaks to me through the weird happenings of the day.  Today's episode shares a story from our most recent trip to Mass...I think anyone with kids can relate!

Today's guest is Maria Cruz, a student at Eastern Illinois University.  She talks about a mission trip she went on in 2018 to Mexico where she served the poor.  The biggest highlight of our conversation is talking about Our Lady of Guadalupe since Maria was able to visit the Basilica while she was there.  We end the conversation talking  about what we can learn from Mary as we continue to make our yeses to God each day!
