This message continues to explore God’s plan for leadership. The greatest leader was Jesus Christ who never missed an opportunity to serve others. He didn’t position himself as a slave master, a Caesar, emperor or king, but he was the son of God. By Jesus example, a true servant in God's kingdom is totally dedicated to God’s service, sees this service as an opportunity—not an obligation. A godly servant gives credit to God and isn’t motivated by what others think. Hear more in this inspiring message!

In 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Paul offers a description of the qualifications for elders, (sometimes called "overseers") for Timothy, who was charged with selecting elders in Ephesus. These qualifications will be used to re-affirm current elders at CrossPoint in April.

How long does love last? In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul speaks of love so eloquently in this letter to the believers. While we don't know what the question was, Paul is addressing the need for unity and diversity of the body--loving one another through our differences. He wanted to tell a "most excellent way" so he launches into a description of how loving behaves, and it's more than a feeling!

It's easy to love those who love us--when they are being lovable, but God wants us to exhibit real love and sometimes that means letting things go and not harboring ill feelings and acting out on them when it suits us.
