We are studying the book of Acts this summer at Heritage. This week Paul and Silas are confronted by a snake spirit possessing a slave girl. There is a call to us to live in the freedom and truth of the gospel and reject the lies and oppression of the snake.

Acts continues in Chapter 16 with account of the Spirit saying no and yes to Paul, Silas, and Timothy as they set out on the second missionary journey.

We see here how God is wise and loving to us in his 'yes' and 'no' answers to our good desired and prayers.

Last week's service was canceled due to Hurricane Lala. So this week are in the end of chapter 15, looking at the disagreement between Paul and Barnabas and why there is hope, even in the middle of disappoinment.

Continuing in our series in Acts this week we look the letter written by the council in Jerusalem to the gentile believers. There are four commandments given at the end of this letter and we look at what they are and why they are given.

Apologies for the long break in uploads. Starting up again by dropping right into our summer series on Acts. This week on the christian courage of Paul and Barnabas.

Here we hear that the doctrine of the Trinity is scriptural, necessary for the gospel, and key to our life in fellowship with other Christians.

Commandments 3 and 4 this week in our series on the 10 commandments. God's personal word to his Bride, for her delight and good.

Our sermons during Lent will be walking through the 10 commandments, focusing on them as God's divine will for his bride; for her good and her delight.

After two weeks of travel we are back. The last Sunday in Epiphany is called 'Transfiguration Sunday' as we focus on the account of Jesus' transfiguration in Matthew 17. Here we see the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sinners like Peter, sinners like us are invited to "Stand, and have no fear" as Jesus, the Lord of the Law and Prophets fulfills them on our behalf.

This week we look at Paul's warning and rebuke to the Corinthian church against the anti-epiphany of quarreling and divisions in the church. This is remedied by paying attention the deep problems that cause divisions.
