Heritage is studying the book of Acts during Ordinary Time. All humans are looking for divine action, we all long to know that God is among us and is saving us and we really long to see evidence of that in miraculous 'signs and wonders.' This week we see two always present wonders for the christian: the presence of God in his Church and the grace of God in saving us. All other temporary miracles are signs pointing to these permanent miracles.

Heritage is studying the book of Acts during Ordinary Time. This week, we have the difficult story of Ananias and Sapphira. We see that the early church (the gathering of believers) is rooted in the gospel, sustained by the Holy Spirit, abounding in good works, and defended by God.
