We all face temptations. It’s not a matter of if, but when they come.  They vary with person, age, and sometimes between both genders, but we all face them. Do what you can do to help yourself fight those temptations.

Sometimes life stinks. You will face trials of many kinds. More often and worse than you want to face. In our last message we were reminded: “no pain, no gain” or as my dad puts it “hurts good”. We were encouraged to look at those trials as a good thing. God is working in our lives to mature us in our faith and to make us like Jesus. In the end, our faith will be proven as genuine, and we will be commended by God.

This message considers how to look at those trials as a “good thing”.

God chose to have compassion on the people of Nineveh because they repented of their wicked ways. God wanted Jonah to have compassion on those people, and God wants us to have compassion on others as well.
