When you have a crisis of belief, what will be your response? Will you follow God as your shepherd, or will you follow your own path?

Experiencing God is all about hearing from Him...whether through prayer, His Word, other believers, or circumstances. Listening and taking the time to wait on His voice is always worth it.

Before we can join God in what He's doing, it helps for us to recognize who God actually is. Let us be awe-inspired by His power and glory.

Knowing God more requires intimacy. Intimacy with God is all about learning who He is, how He loves you and feels about you, and spending time with Him.

We've heard that God has a good plan for our lives. But God's plan really isn't about us. He is involved all around us, and we get to join Him in an epic journey to save the world!

When we focus on ourselves instead of God, it's often others who pay the price. Being close to God allows us to take the focus off of us and put it where it belongs. Let's be God-centered!

To experience God and be close to him, we need to stop focusing on building a kingdom that won't last. Let's work on building an eternal kingdom as we focus our talents, time, and resources on God's work.

"Lay down your pride before God whoops your hide."

Sometimes we just want to be told that what we're doing is okay, even if that's just a comfortable lie. Pride keeps us from being close with God and causes us to stumble and fall.

"When Jesus died for you, He didn't die for your pretty...but He died for your ugly."

God wants us to understand where we stand in light of our relationship with Him. In spite of our failures He loves us, and will help us turn away from sin and to Him.
