This Sunday we see the Lord beginning to fulfil His promises by giving David victory over his enemies. We also see that in Christ your life can tell a different story no matter what sins you have committed.

After being told that God would build him a house, rather than the other way around, David responds in heartfelt prayer, giving us an example of how we are to respond to God’s amazing grace to us in Christ.

This Sunday we resume our series in the Chronicles. We will see the Gospel beautifully portrayed in the life of David and the Establishemnt of an everlasting covenant that finds it's fulfilment in David's greater son, Jesus Christ.
