As we conclude Isaiah’s saga of trusting the Lord, we come to the pinnacle narrative where the Assyrian king taunts the people of Judah for trusting in God. This scene resembles the Garden of Eden, where the serpent asks, did God really say? Sennacherib asks, did God really say you can trust him?
