The seventh session saw the party continue their journey from the gnome city, heading directly toward the next great tower on their quest. Their entry into the structure was anything but smooth, as they immediately encountered three new faces: Korva Emberforge, the fearsome Hellborn Dragonborn; Flinn Windwhisper, the playful Goblin ranger; and Val'shara Nar'shorn, the devout Drow cleric.

United by a common enemy, the five travelers (Morgana, Gnavin, and the three NPCs) quickly banded together and were forced to immediately run past a potent shadow soldier to gain entry to the tower's interior. Inside, the true ordeal began. The tower was defended by a series of unsettling guardians: chest-themed golems. The party fought tooth and nail, climbing higher and battling through floor after floor.

However, the journey proved too deadly for their new allies. Despite the combined effort and powerful talents wielded by the combined group, the tower's defenses took a heavy toll. By the time Morgana and Gnavin reached the end of the tower's perilous ascent, Korva, Flinn, and Val'shara had all fallen, leaving the two core adventurers alone once more to face whatever awaited them at the summit.
