I was lucky enough to catch my Aunt Linda while she was in town for the LeBaron family reunion! I hauled my studio out to my dad's house in Polo, IL and got a chance to catch up and talk about her interesting life (like growing up in Italy??). We're joined by her twin girls, Megan and Mary and my paternal unit (and Polo Methodist Pastor), Brian LeBaron as we discuss the importance of a supporting each as a family, as well as reminisce about those no longer with us. Linda takes us through her extensive traveling as a child and talks about the origin idea to have Grandpa LeBaron make a record of some of his stories (heard in their entirety in the previous two episodes).

In this episode, we conclude the recording of my Grandpa, Keith LeBaron's document "A Father's Legacy," originally typed up with his daughter (my Aunt) Linda in mind. With this half, Grandpa gets into heavier details about his life, including his deteriorating relationship near the end of his marriage to Linda's mother, Marge, as well as his fondest memories about his family growing up. In this episode, my sister, Mel and I together read a questionnaire that my Aunt Linda sent to my Grandpa Keith LeBaron a long time ago. Mel voices Linda's questions and I voice my Grandpa. In it, my Grandpa lays out his family's challenges making it work in the Great Depression, talks about his love of the railroad, shares some ideas on his Christian faith, and gets into some everyday wisdom.
