Tom McLoughlin is the writer and director of the horror films ONE DARK NIGHT (1982) and FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES (1986), as well as the comedy DATE WITH AN ANGEL (1987). He also directed the TV movie SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK (1991), which was based on a story by Stephen King.

In addition to writing and directing, Tom is the lead singer of the heavy metal band The Sloths.
