Women turned to pirating on the high seas just as men did, and one arguably became the baddest pirate ever (or best, depending on how you look at it!) I'm covering pirates from all around the world, including Sayyida al-Hurra, Grace O'Malley, Anne Bonny and Mary Read, and Ching Shih.Sourceshttps://kimbarrett92.medium.com/women-in-the-golden-age-of-piracy-745fb710f2https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Readhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Womeninpiracyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Bonnyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_O%27Malleyhttps://www.irishpost.com/life-style/irelands-pirate-queen-twelve-fascinating-facts-legendary-grace-omalley-129406https://www.shamrockgift.com/blog/grace-omalley-pirate-queen/http://www.thewayofthepirates.com/famous-pirates/ching-shih/https://www.ancient-origins.net/history-famous-people/ching-shih-prostitute-pirate-lord-002582https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acojc6aZjgEhttps://www.headstuff.org/culture/history/terrible-people-from-history/sayyida-al-hurra-muslim-pirate-queen/
