Hetki Jeesukselle / Time for Jesus

Jesus gives us a challenging teaching: Mt 16:24-25: "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." But what does it mean in practice? How can we live it out in our daily lives?

(Nauhoitettu 22.12.20.)

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

A meditation on our Christian vocation: the Gospel according to Luke chapter 5.

A meditation on John's Gospel, chapters 1, 15, and 19.

Matthew 13, parables and conversion of heart.

Jesus' call to conversion. We need to resist the spirit of the times.

We're called to become saints even when we are sinners. In this meditation we consider two aspects of holiness: God's power triumphing against temptations and trials, and God's love winning in spite of our sins.

Kiitollisuus on vallankumouksellista. Mietiskely kiitollisuudesta ja anteliaisuudesta pienessä ja suuressa.
