Hex

It's been a while since I recorded a mix, and for this one I wanted to challenge myself as a DJ while also shining a spotlight on one of my favourite labels of recent years: Barcelona's @analogicalforce. The mix isn't designed to be a complete overview of the label's output, more a tour through some of my personal favourites. I hope you enjoy it! If you like the music in this mix please head over to https://analogicalforce.bandcamp.com/ to support the label and the artists by buying the releases!

This one cuts deep. Hex and Shodan make their first appearance on Technique Recordings with a vocal-led banger by the name of Contra. Sense MC – widely recognised as one of the greatest lyricists in drum n bass – rolls out incisively sharp rhymes to add layers of listenability even away from the rave. This is authentic D&B science to get the real heads skanking.
