Witches, the Supreme Court has been a Supreme pain in the last rulings.  We are here to break it down in our own special way, which is really to discuss the bare bones and hurl a lot of expletives.  We are talking about ideas for magic, ideas for practical combat, but fight we must against these laws - or the reversal of such - that are so harmful to so many.  Join us for dissenting dialogue and also, as a bonus, lotion recommendations.  Put on your black robes of justice and pull up a bench, and join us in our righteously vengeful wrath.

Get ready to learn about more spoooooky plants!  This week Blackbird goes in deep with henbane, the witch's favorite plant!  Long associated with flying, visions, necromancy and love magic, you are bound to learn a fact or two you may not already know.  Come sit in our deadly garden with us and enjoy the shade while the world is literally its hottest.  While you wait for a breeze, enjoy listening!

Witches, get ready for more baneful nightshade talk!  Can one ever get enough?  Learn all about how to spot datura in the wild, how to avoid getting poisoned, and how to work with this amazing plant magically!  Even though datura is considered a "noxious weed", witches know the truth about how useful the properties of this plant are, whether you work with the actual plant or this spirit of it.  Gather 'round for our summer plant series!

Witches, just go outside and look around - so many things we call weeds are really magical, useful plant friends that are humbly waiting for you to discover them.  This week, Blackbird and Scarlet introduce you to two very common "weeds" you are sure to come across, and break it down for you to find out what dandelion and henbit are all about.  If you live somewhere that does not resemble a sauna currently, go outside and take a look!  Magic is truly everywhere, especially under your feet.

Get ready for some true facts y'all!  Blackbird is on her own this week, and she wants to tell all of the Hex listeners how much meditation has improved her life, her interactions, and her witchcraft!  She lets you in for a little peek at her world and how she became a person who meditates daily.  Grab a cool summer drank, get settled in the shade, and watch the sun set while listening to her journey!

This week, the witches continue with part two of Scarlet's adventure in Missouri at Interfuse, a regional Burning Man, where she held a ritual for her camp invoking the Mushroom Goddess.  Learn about how she prepped for this and wrote it, and hear what she created!  This has inspired both Blackbird and Scarlet to work more with mushroom magic for their future endeavors.  Pull up a toadstool and listen!

Witches, have you ever wondered what it is like at Burning Man besides hot?  Did you know that there are smaller events all around the country called regional Burns?  You will find out all about what it's like, thanks to Scarlet!  Blackbird interviews her on the culture, tenets, and what exactly goes on at this type of festival.  Scarlet takes us on a journey through Interfuse, the latest regional Burn that just took place in Missouri.  You are guaranteed to lean something! This year's theme was quite magical - so magical it needed to be a two-parter!

The witches are back again with the blackest of rocks!  Theses mistresses of goth turn their attention to the deep volcanic splendor of obsidian, and the crystalline opaqueness of black tourmaline.  You will learn about how they formed, how many thousands of years they've been used, properties, and so much more!  The Hex Rated ladies are ready to present to you more goth rock talk.  Grab all your stones and come lay on the floor with us!

Witches!!  Do you know how rocks get made?  You will now!  We are taking a deep dive into the gothest of rocks, and we are taking you with us.  How are these the same?  How are they different?  What properties do they have?  And most importantly, how do they make us feel?  Get your mind blown by science, and join us for this fascinating episode about some of our favorite black stones!

Saddle up for a big introspective party for one, witches!!  This week, Scarlet and Blackbird discuss the many similarities and differences between these two "dark" cards, just in time for the tail end of Scorpio Moon season!  Bring all your feelings and get ready for possible inner revelations - as always, the witches are excited to take you on a tour of the tarot, but this is a journey that you most definitely will have to trek on your own (but hey, we can be in your earbuds.)
