Anna presents the second heisei Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Biollante! A well balanced mix of puny humans struggles and giant monster destruction with a soundtrack that slaps. Very fun unless you hate plants with teeth.

Cori is breaking the mold with a Japanese direct to video series called Giant Robo: The Animation aka Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still. In the first episode we meet many heroes and villains but most importantly we meet Giant Robo. It’s the peak of 90s animation so come on in and enjoy the lighting and mechanical design!

This summer Josh brings us a picture set in the winter. In black and white. With almost zero dialog. It is possibly the funniest thing we’ve ever seen.

Anna has picked Mr. Freedom, a satirical superhero in sports equipment from the 60s. Josh and Cori agree that it is stupidly relevant and the cast and colourful costumes are astounding. Everyone loves inflatable characters!
