Bethesda Games has confirmed that Their upcoming MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be making its way to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One next Spring. Previously announced for the Mac and PC, The Elder Scrolls Online allows armchair adventurers to for the first time team up with friends to explore the storied world of Tamriel, or take the fight to hundreds of other players in skirmishes across the kingdom’s vast landscape in competitive PVP matches. Today Tecmo Koei showed off their newest Vita title in the form of a beautifully gritty samurai action game titled Toukiden. Crafted by the team behind the Dynasty Warriors games, Toukiden puts players in control of a Slayer, a warrior whose sole duty is to vanquish the demons that plague the land inspired by Feudal Japan.  The story begins to unfold in the Utakata village headquarters. Here players can take on quests to combat the evil Oni forces before they devour all of humanity. Players can undertake their bloody mission solo, or team up with up to three friends via ad hoc to take on Toukiden’s towering monstrosities. It’s a little perplexing why Nintendo chose not to show us this during their Nintendo Direct, but a new trailer has been released for the upcoming Link to the Past sequel on 3DS. The game has been given the new title of Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, most likely in homage of the dark/light worlds of its predecessor. The new trailer shows off various environments that are very reminiscent of areas from A Link to the Past, as well as further showcasing of the new power to turn into a drawing and move along flat surfaces. Today at E3 Microsoft and Rare confirmed what many gamers already suspected by showing off a new entry in the long dormant Killer Instinct series. Fans immediately began to suspect a new title in the combo-centric fighting game franchise was in the works when last month Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer hinted teased attendees at the Xbox One reveal on May 21st “Fans of Rare and Rare IP I think will be pleased with what we’re going to show at E3. Today Square-Enix has revealed an impressive E3 gameplay video of the upcoming RPG Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The trailer is short but impressive, featuring some impressive visuals and level architecture powered by Square’s capable Crystal Tools engine. The footage also manages to show off the game’s action-oriented swordplay and fluid animation, such as the swaying of Lightning’s clothing as she sprints and the way she maneuvers around the environment. We also get to see some of the monstrous baddies that Lightning will encounter in the newly revealed city of Yusnaan. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is due to be released on February 11th 2014 in the US and February 14th in Europe.

Developer Zombie Studios and publisher Atlus have joined forces to bring us Daylight, a new survival horror game for PC and PS4. The game is a first-person survival horror adventure in which you wake up in an abandoned hospital, armed only with a cell phone by way of light source. The darkened world around you is randomly generated. Each area, item, and spooky foe appears in a different place each time. The game was written by industry veteran and IGN alumni Jessica Chobot, who also gives a voice to the game’s protagonist as she roams through the abandoned building in search of a way out.
