Episode-six of the “Hey You Geeks!!” podcast is the first of our Indie Geek Out episodes, a theme we’ll be revisiting every few months on the show. This week, we invite director Richard Griffin onto the show to discuss the three new films he has coming out over the next eight months; Exhumed, Murder University and Dr. Frankenstein’s Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead. Richard gives invaluable insight into what it truly means to make independent films in today’s digital age. After that, alien folk-rock duo Future Folk join us for a hilarious and musical interview about earthly domination, muzak, and their new film, The History of Future Folk.

In episode-five of the “Hey You Geeks!!” Podcast we discuss the new Man of Steel film and where it fits into the mythos of the Superman character. 75 years ago this month, Superman first graced the pages of Action Comics #1. In this episode, we look at Zack Snyder’s new incarnation of Superman through the prism of those past 75 years, weighing the big questions and addressing the monumental changes the film attaches to a character known for employing humanity above all else.

In episode-four of the “Hey You Geeks!!” Podcast we discuss our favorite robots in film, TV, comics, videogames and all of pop-culture. With the final issue of Brian Michael Bendis’ Marvel series Age of Ultron coming in two weeks, what better time to talk about the androids, cyborgs, robots, A.I. and harbingers of doom that make us laugh, cringe and geek out in the best of ways. We also review Random Access Memories, the new album from robot rockers Daft Punk and end with Sound On Sight comics writer Logan Dalton’s review of Age of Ultron thus far.

In episode-two of the “Hey You Geeks!!” Podcast we discuss the first Marvel Phase-2 film, Shane Black’s post-Avengers set Iron Man 3. For the second part of the show we send Tony Stark into space and invite Sound On Sight Comics writer Logan Dalton onto the show for a discussion about the Brian Michael Bendis Guardians of the Galaxy comic series, and some of what Logan learned will be coming up from Marvel Comics during his trip to C2E2 last month.
