Focus on Act 1: 1-11 and ask yourself these questions:

Questions for Reflection:

· Am I standing still in places where God has already called me to move?

· What have I seen or experienced in my faith journey that I have yet to respond to?

· What keeps me looking up, rather than looking around?

Today is a reminder that Great is God's faithfulness.

Sometimes we just have to remind ourselves that we are still standing

This morning Proverbs 30:8-9 reminds us that we are called to have balance

This morning we take a moment to breathe and reflect on the ways in which our pain has harmed us. And how Jesus will go pass us but will always give us another chance

Psalm 116 reminds us to not just allow our bodies to rest but to ensure our souls are resting. The question to ask yourself is, How is your soul resting?

John 12: 31-32 "Now is the judgement of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself"

We sit with the understanding that evil, suffering and the Empire will not win. That when we seek the Lord and draw out and near to Jesus we will fins a new way of being.

The Drama of Lent is the journey to relinquishment of old visions of reality that are failed and being surprised by new life given in glad, inconvenient obedience.
