This week in Ireland, the Irish government haves basically removed all COVID restrictions! This is great news however we are nearly 3 years into a pandemic ands a lot of us are still confused and most definitely less trusting of our governments. Dr. Rahman is a part of the Scicomm collective in Ireland where their goal is to spread scientific facts in a digestible way over social media for young adults. Dr. Rahman also completed his Phd recently where he also was involved with COVID research. As well as working for Pfizer, he is well equip to explain some of this situation to us.  Yemi’s love for science grew at a young age and he’s dedicating his work and efforts to improve the scope and reach of black and African scientists in Ireland and internationally. Never thought I’d be saying this but.. on this episode I have 90s baby show with me!!!!!

The impact the ‘92 boys have had on my life has been amazing. From informing and inspiring me to explore my identity as a black, Irish woman to the sheer entertain and joy I get on a Monday morning when I see the notification on Spotify.
