This time we want to talk about the confident expectations God wants us to have of and for ourselves because of Him. He wants us to be bold and confident.  One of the most important keys to success and victory in life is learning how to adjust our expectations to align with what God wants us to expect.

We are in a series, learning that God wants to align us more with His expectations so we can see more of His miracles and blessings. The Bible teaches that as we expect more, we receive more.

We are talking about how the realization of the coming of Christ brought breakthroughs to so many who witnessed the news of His coming. We’ve said that the realization of the significance of Christ’s coming can also bring breakthroughs to our lives, if we learn to respond the way they did.

God wants to bring breakthroughs to every area of our life. He is the God of breakthrough. Wherever there is a breakdown He wants to bring a breakthrough.

There was no hope that Abraham would have children. But Abraham believed God and continued hoping. And that is why he became the father of many nations. As God told him, “Your descendants will also be too many to count.”

Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus, he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
