Why would Jesus leave the splendor of Heaven, come to earth and live as a human, knowing what the end result was going to be?
If we never learn and believe what Jesus did for us through His death and resurrection, our relationship with God will always be tainted by the doubts and fears of our mistakes and inadequacies instead of the wonderful freedom of His love, grace and mercy toward us.
"Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." (emphasis mine) Matthew 6:9-10; Luke 11:2-4. Life has more than one path and we get to choose which path we want for our life. What do you do when you're up against IT, so to speak? IT can be anything; sickness, disease, depression, failed relationship, mistreatment by someone, finances, anything that tries to do you in, cause you to fail, give up. A young shepherd boy knew exactly what to do.
I remember the nurse telling me, "Don't worry, honey, You're going to walk again." I remember believing her and never really questioning it again after that.
In these troubled times, if we will let Him, Jesus will give us peace when life's problems involve us in the storms of fear, doubt, anxiety and uncertainty. 202Won (WE WIN)
