The creator of this show, Julien Matwawana, Executive Director of the African Nova Scotian Music Association (ANSMA) in Atlantic Canada, feels that this content will help the community he serves in his position at ANSMA, and beyond by showing that there are many ways one can provide value to the music ecosystem.
By interviewing active Hidden Figures in the music industry, Julien hopes to show those who have a passion for music and a desire to take part in it that there are many different ways to do so.
Hidden Figures will feature music industry professionals from across the globe who have made significant contributions to the music industry in some way that may surprise listeners and viewers. Julien hopes that these conversations will provide useful knowledge and some direction to those looking to make their unique mark in the music space he is so passionate about.
