But despite my efforts, the group home, DDS, and co‑guardian kept him in the same unsafe environment. An environment where his vision deteriorated to blindness, his hearing loss worsened, and his heart failure progressed without the interventions he desperately needed.

“Legal Guardianship” is not just a story — it’s a record. A record of what I witnessed, what I fought for, and what I refuse to stay silent about. It is a reminder that family voices matter.
