On this special episode of HGP, we have our first guest & friend to the show JediPolaris23 (known to us as Bam) to chat with us about how we think the season is going, is VoG going to hold up in D2 or is it just nostalgia, and the Stasis nerfs that just rolled out. The crew chat about the Destiny 2 Season 14 reveal: Season of the Splicer, or as we call it Season of the Smallen because of the cute lil' Eliksni hatchlings!!! The gang chat about the return of Vault of Glass, Destiny's very first raid, coming to Destiny 2. Plus we explain the buffs coming to weapon types and weapon perks as well as how excited we are for some of the changes. Dad rifles forever! The gang chats about Guardian Games for 2021 and the changes being implemented. Plus we chat about how we'd like to see this event evolve further in future offerings. We also chat about our excitement for going for the Grandmaster Nightfall title this coming week, other games we're having fun with & difficulties with, and there is a bit of testicular related humor that is sprinkled throughout. For our 25th episode milestone, we chat about the armor situation in Destiny 2; issues with how armor and mods work plus how unrewarding armor is as loot. We also chat about other games where we did like elements to their armor systems and give some wishful requests as to what we'd love to see change while knowing creating a game the size & scope of Destiny 2 is difficult and these suggestions may not ever work in the current game. And it wouldn't be an episode of HGP without a technical difficulty where the outro didn't record & we don't have time to do it again! Come for the conversations & stay for the goofs! The Proving Grounds Grand Master Nightfall was something else but we'll go over what we did & how it felt plus the rewards earned from it.
