For Carers Week 2024, Michelle shares her story of caring for her two children who have ARFID and Perthes' Disease. Like many carers, Michelle didn't consider herself a carer initially, despite the extra support and advocacy she provides. She describes how these conditions impact her family's daily lives and what support she has been able to access to help them.

In this episode, we speak to Mark and Johno from iCarp, a programme that treats trauma by combining fishing with peer support. Dr Mark Wheeler was an IAPT therapist supporting veterans with their trauma when he realised a new approach was needed, as many veterans were not reaching out for help. Johno is a veteran who has been supported by iCarp and now volunteers as an angling coach.

Following his diagnosis in 2010, Errol has encouraged many men to get tested for prostate cancer by offering a discount on their car's MOT if they showed him they had been for a PSA test, saving nearly 50 lives in the process.

Errol shares how prostate cancer has changed his life and the important work he now does through the Errol McKellar Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK.
