In the third installment of the 2014 AMA and HIMSS podcast collaboration, Dr. Joe Heyman, founder, former President and current CMIO of the Whittier IPA, which owns and operates the Wellport Health Information Exchange, and Dan Paoletti, CEO of the Ohio Health Information Partnership (OHIP) and former VP of the Ohio Hospital Association, discuss how health information exchange can facilitate achievement of Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements.

This 2nd half of the conversation addresses medication reconciliation, registries, HISPs and the business case for hospitals and commercial labs to engage with HIE.
