Daysi Medrano's experience battling cancer changed her outlook on life. Instead of feeling like a victim of her circumstances, she made the conscious decision to take responsibility for her life. Daysi has been on a journey of self-discovery, learning how to cope with challenging situations and listening to what her body needs. She has now developed the practice of recognizing when feelings such as fear come up and instead of allowing them to control her, she uses them as a tool to propel her forward. Through embracing this new attitude, Daysi has become empowered and is an inspiring example that no matter how hard things may seem, it’s always possible to take back control in order to lead a fulfilling life.
