We’re back! After a short break, the reigns of the show have shifted hands once again, and I (Kyle Yanowski) will do my very best to ensure that High Drag remains active and alive – bringing you discussions from the smoky bar rooms of New Eden. Coming back after a significant hiatus, I noticed that a lot of the Eve news sites and podcasts that I once relied to get through the honey-do list, are now gone. Sad as it is, we decided to touch on this subject and more, in Episode 99 of the High Drag Eve Online Podcast.

However, not only did we manage to track down the errant episode 95, but we also downloaded episode 96!!

Episode 95 was recorded right after the April patch and the breaking news of Brisc Rubal’s banning. While many of the EVE news outlets pounced on the Brisc news, we wanted to take a slightly different take on the discussion. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy it. Episode 94 was our 2019 dart board episode where we had a ton of little things to touch on. From the opening lines from Ashterothi saying “now everything is happening”, we move on through with Grats to Katia Sae for her amazing tour of New Eden, Wars, the spring patch….Whew!! So many little things. Then, the bitter. CCP Guard announced that he was leaving CCP and Evesterdam would be his last event as a dev. Our shout outs at the end are a tribute to Guard and the positive energy he brought to a sometimes infuriating game. Svenni, we will miss you. o7 and Fly safe!

Hey High Drag listeners!

This was our second attempt to record episode 93. In our first attempt, we invited House Hendoe and recorded a fine show but we suffered some sort of Azariah level gremlin attack. I made several attempts to work with the audio, but eventually, I ended up scrapping it. We will bring back Hendoe again, but in this recording, we have Greygal and the rare appearance from Kyle Yanowski.

Our discussions this time around cover the Alaskan Cruise arranged by Greygal, The cancellation of the Alliance Tournament and the aftermath of Guardian’s Gala.

Tonights recording was quite the milestone for us. As of the recording, we had turned 6 years old as a podcast. My, how the time flies! Tonight’s crew talk a bit about the December patch that will drop on the 11th but more importantly, I search through the early episodes of High Drag starting at episode 2 and splice together a montage of some moments I found clever or funny. It’s amazing to hear the quality of the recording change over the course of that year. Yea, a year. With 89 episodes in the can, I had a lot to listen to to find those. Soooooo….the montage covers up until January 2014 where we crown our new intro. I think from this point on, we may do a bit here or there from the histories, but for now, we hope you enjoy the ones I found.
