Singer, song writer and author Jim Bob from Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine joins me to go through their UK number one album, 1992 - The Love Album. This phenomenal slice of 90's goodness mixes witty, biting lyrics full of clever references and amazing insights with thumping samples, driving guitars and a dash of accordian.
This album had a huge impact on me in my teenage years and it stills has a regular place in my album rotations.
Jim and I go track by track through the album and discuss the mixed feelings of reaching number one, Ian Dury induced hang overs, the scorching Adelaide Big Day Out of 1993 and Mudhoney's tree.
Carter's albums and Jim Bob's solo records are available on all streaming services.
Physical copies, merch and books are available at www.jim-bob.co.uk
