My spouse speaks physical touch, I do not. I struggle with transitions which make it difficult to get out of my head and into the mood. Years of pregnancy, hormonal changes, breastfeeding, and a mindset of "shut down" made intimacy a point of contention in our marriage. Can you relate? Maybe she's born with it....?

Confidence? Hardly.

In my opinion, confidence is a practice just like any other. Some people are more naturally inclined but anyone can learn how to be more confident. Confidence impacts our marriage more than many would care to admit. Confidence in who we are, where we get our fulfillment, and how we feel in our own skin. All 3 of these areas are really important in marriage. Listen to find out more about small steps you can take to shift into a more confident you, and ultimately, improve your marriage by practicing these small steps.

Interested in figuring out your own love language and your spouse's, go read Gary Chapman's The Five Love Languages right now. Your spouse can't understand you showing love if you're speaking a language he or she doesn't understand. Trust me, this is really important for improving your marriage.

What is your skincare story? I am grateful for growing up in a home that taught me the importance of caring for my skin. Over the years, I learned how to care for my skin, use makeup to accentuate, not cover up my natural beauty. I learned that quality matters and you get what you pay for. But then I began learning about toxic and harsh chemicals that do produce results, but at what expense to our long-term health. What you put on your skin absorbs into your bloodstream in about 26 seconds... Skin is our largest organ and also our first line of defense and barrier for our immune response against foreign invaders. It is SO important!

We all have 24 hour in a day, yet some people seem to make use of their time better than others- why? And how?! 

Small steps:
1. Pick an hourly/weekly planner that works for you (or use a digital system)
2. Categorize by important/urgent/not important/not urgent.
3. Time Block (write out all your reoccurring events, appointments, to-do's, block out time based on non-negotiables and family vision) 
4. Color that baby!
5. Weekly/Nightly prep is key
6. Shift the way you think about and talk to yourself about time.

How do you put together school lunches that your kids will love but will also give them good fuel and keep them feeling full?
Too often, school lunches are packed with empty carbs and lacking in sustaining protein.  Don't even get me started on all the food dyes and fake stuff that negatively impacts the learning of kids.
A good school lunch starts with PROTEIN. Then adds fruits and veggies. THEN unprocessed or less processed carbs and clean fat. LASTLY, add healthier treats, like berries or raisins. Your kids will enjoy these lunch ideas and will do better in school because their bodies won't be fighting against them when it comes to paying attention and learning. They will thank you, mama!
