As an outstanding entrepreneur and manager, he frequently led Intel in successful transformations. In 1997, he was rated as the “Person of the Year” by the weekly magazine Time. He taught strategic management courses at the Stanford Graduate School of Business for a long term. He was also an honorary professor of Harvard University.
