Athletes for Hope was founded in 2006 by a group of elite athletes who all share a common bond – a deep commitment to helping others. These Founders included Muhammad Ali, Mia Hamm, Andre Agassi, and Alonzo Mourning, among others.

AFH is a non-profit that aims to educate, encourage, and assist athletes in their efforts to engage with community and charitable causes, to increase public awareness of and support those efforts, and to inspire others to do the same.
