Somehow, some way, the Pipestone Area Schools baseball team played three games last week. The Arrows split Big South Conference games on Thursday, April 3, at the Sanford Sports Complex Diamonds, defeating Redwood Valley 6-2 and falling to Luverne, 9-1. “We had the opportunity to play a conference doubleheader there,” PAS head baseball coach/activities director Rick Zollner said. “The weather was nice, and it was a great environment (for baseball).” The complex opened in 2012, complete with five turf fields for baseball — plus five more for softball.
