ST. JAMES — The Pipestone Area Schools girls basketball team rolled into the Christmas break by beating St. James Area, 62-49. The Arrows improved to 8-1 before Monday’s Borch’s Holiday Classic game versus MACCRAY (Clara City). (Read a recap on that game in the Thursday, Jan. 8, edition of The Star.) PAS built a 32-23 halftime lead and built it into double digits during the second half. Jadyn Kor paced all scorers with 22 points, including three 3-pointers and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw stripe.
