TRACY — Thanks to threatening weather, the Panther Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 4, turned into a McMeet. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton served as event host. Boys and girls were combined into three races: varsity covering 5,000 meters, a junior varsity race going 4,000 meters and a “C” division event (2,000 meters). Heavy rain began to fall at Tracy Golf Club just moments after conclusion of the varsity race, with runners, coaches and fans scurrying to their vehicles.
