The Pipestone Area Schools girls tennis team capped off a busy stretch with a road split Saturday, Sept. 6. The Arrows nipped Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, 4-3; however, lost to Morris Area-Hancock/West Central Area, 5-2. “It was huge for the girls,” PAS head coach James Skyberg said of the team earning two match wins last week. The Arrows also topped River Valley (Springfield), 5-2, on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Skyberg said the Arrows are beginning to play with more confidence, and that has resulted in more success. To beat Benson/KMS, PAS swept the doubles matches and Aleryn Brinkmeyer picked up a 6-4, 6-4 victory...
