With Valentine’s Day only a few days away, it’s time to add some romance of the creepiest kind of your life by listening to our episode on High School Lover! Brian welcomes good friends (and high school) classmates Wesley Vena and Kyle Reinfried (the Foodie Films man himself) back to his slumber party to settle a teenage prank for the final time and to chat about Superbad, 2007's Judd Apatow produced comedy. The boys discuss the cast of Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Bill Hader, Seth Rogen, and Emma Stone, as well all things McLovin. Also: Brian makes a heartfelt apology to tubas.

This week, Brian welcomes good friend (and Shakespeare expert) John Hardin to the slumber party to dissect the surprisingly faithful -- and equally controversial -- 2001 Othello adaptation, O, staring Mekhi Phifer, Josh Hartnett, and Brian's teenage crush, Julia Stiles. John tries his best to summarize the source material in 60 seconds while Brian makes it a point to chat about the time he met Julia Stiles in person. Also, CageClub co-founder Joey Lewandowski stops by to share a different take on last week's film, Pump Up the Volume.

Brian and Mike lift the curtain on their podcasting personas in order to understand Christian Slater's portrayal of Hard Harry, an angsty teen pirate radio DJ who uncovers a conspiracy at his high school and inspires his classmates to rage against the system.

Brian welcomes back his old cross-country buddy, Mike Rivera, to chat about the heartwarming Disney running film, McFarland, USA. While both Brian and Mike thought the cliches and PG rating would do the movie in, discussing the topical and true story of poor latino high schoolers sacrificing so much for their team and families, as well as the coach (played by Kevin Costner) who brought winning to a town where anyone who could leave, would leave, McFarland, USA ends up unexpectedly tugging at the boys' heartstrings. Also find out why "Hi, I'm Mike Rivera" became the second worst pickup line in summer camp.

School is back in session! To celebrate the start of 2019, our theme on High School Slumber Party this week is "New Year, New You." But what happens when the old you was Rob Schneider and the new you just happens to be the most popular girl in high school? When you factor in a supporting cast of Anna Faris, Rachel McAdams, and Matthew Lawrence, plus cameos from Jessica Simpson and the Mowry sisters (Sister, Sister!), you have the makings for a dated, borderline offensive, hilariously absurd early 2000s comedy. For part one of this two-part special, Brian's rented a secluded mountain cabin to celebrate the Christmas break from school, the old-fashioned way: among the scenic beauty and a crackling fire... oh, and as far away from the classroom as possible. But don't worry! He's still checking your homework! Featuring a special musical duet that's sure to knock your stockings off, the only question is: will his guests be able to weather a storm to celebrate the special day with him?

Chill, brah, and get set for an extreme edition of High School Slumber Party! Guest Chris Carroll is back to discuss one of his favorite films growing up: 1993's rollerblading classic, Airborne! Featuring early screen roles of Seth Green and Jack Black, Airborne is the story of a surfing California high schooler who's forced to move away from the waves and in with his aunt and uncle in snowy Cincinnati, while his parents study wombats in Australia. Who could forget the 20-minute-long roller race action scene at the end? Apparently, Brian, as he had no idea this film even existed.

Get set for some prehistoric fun this week on High School Slumber Party! It's time to talk about the awesomely bad Tammy and the T-Rex! Jenny O'Connell returns, as does Cara Gael O'Regan (who mistakenly thought this was a similarly titled Whoopi Goldberg film), to discuss Denise Richards's performance, fantastic fashion, Paul Walker's film (and on-screen car chase) debut, our spirit dinosaurs, and all other things a hastily-put-together film about a high school girl who falls in love with a robotic tyrannosaurus implanted with her boyfriend's brain has to offer!
